Celebrating 500 YouTube Subscribers

 

 I want to thank you so much for being here. I’m so excited to be celebrating finally reaching 500 subscribers! And honestly, it’s so gratifying because it has been one heck of a journey as I’ve gone through all of these different stages.

The Struggle

I want to talk to you a little bit about the struggle today. There are quite a few people who watch me that are just getting started, or maybe going through the struggle. So I just want to share a little bit of that with you. I actually just had to look up my stats, when I posted on this channel for the first time, it was February 20, of 2018. Even before this, I tried to start another channel to talk about e commerce, that was going to be my thing. But I just felt really pent in that, it felt too restrictive for me. So I decided I wanted to go a little bit broader. I knew that wanted to talk about marketing, or maybe I want to travel, or I want to unbox the all the things that I buy, or talk about video. If you don’t know, my main job is I sell racecar parts online. That is over on the Crate Insider channel, we’ve had great success with that. But it’s different being here on my own personal brand channel and talking about the things that I talk about. So it’s a challenge!

Gratitude 

Here we are 500 subscribers in, it is such a joy. I shot 140 videos to get this far, so if you’re struggling and you’re just getting started, then don’t let that hold you back. To have this steadily grow little by little over the course of three years, feels phenomenal. I know that I’ve worked for it, I can feel like I earned it. 500 to about 800 will grow reasonably quickly, probably in half that time.

My message here today more than anything, is thank you. I’m super grateful! I hope I’m bringing some helpful tips and ideas to to you, and to all my viewers and I’m always open to suggestions. Free to drop in a comment and let me know what you guys want to see from me, whether you want some social media tutorials, or some tips about e-commerce, whatever the case may be, drop it in there and let me know. I do love to share tips and ideas with you. I want to let you know if you’re struggling, you’re not alone.  Content evolves over time. I always say that it takes the first 100 videos just to kind of get it, just to understand it. So if you can get through the first 100, kudos to you. If you’re just starting out and struggling, just know it does get easier and much smoother.
