Digital Marketing for Track Promoters

We are here because we are passionate about our sport and about our industry… what a difference we would make if your race has meaning.

I had the opportunity to speak at the Inaugural Southeastern Promoters Workshop held in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in January 2020. In this segment, I share some tips, tricks, and ideas for racing series directors and track promoters.

Here’s the main topic of my presentation, the website. Your website is the core of everything that you do. All roads lead back to your website. Therefore, you have to make sure that it’s set and presented properly. Consider the following checklist:

  • Make sure that your website is mobile friendly
  • Provide clear directions to your track
  • Update your track more frequently

The aesthetic is important too but first make sure that the function and the experience of your audience while they are on your website are your priorities.

Moreover, I also shared some ideas that track promoters could use as topic for their content. Here are some of the basic ideas:

  • Track History
  • Behind the Scene
  • Memorial Races

During the workshop, I recorded the entire presentation so that everyone can watch it. And to see the entire workshop, you can watch it for free over at my Winning Motorsports Marketing website.
